Just an awkward redhead

Hello! I am Jamie. Tall, redheaded, just this side of awkward. Some day I'll make a difference and I hope it's yesterday, today, or tomorrow for someone. Maybe in the way I hope my writing will affect people, maybe just a kind word.

Maybe by doing this, I don't know. Life is full of maybe's, though, isn't it?

Despite all obvious signs, I'm not terribly philosophical. Ambitious, a nervous wreck nine times out of ten, and eager to make that precious difference to someone. But not philosophical when it comes down to it.

How else can I describe myself? I can't really think of anything, to tell you the truth. I listen to music but pretty much everyone does. I'm shamelessly addicted to caffeine; again, fairly common. I have a family, friends, and even rivals I adore in my own way. But how can I describe to you who I am?

It is impossible to describe anyone or anything without being unfair, without categorizing them into what people believe is normal. If everyone was "normal," wouldn't life be ridiculously boring?

Dream, people. Dream as wildly as you breath. Reach for the stars and relish the dawn you see before everyone else (a paraphrased quote from Oscar Wilde)! The stars will lead you to your destiny even though you may never touch those stars. Be wild, be tame, be happy, be sad. Just be.

As author Ashley Smith once said, "Life is full of beauty. Notice it. Notice the bumble bee, the small child, and the smiling faces. Smell the rain, and feel the wind. Live your life to the fullest potential, and fight for your dreams."

...okay, maybe I'm a little philosophical.

I’m sorry but I really do like the new captain on ‘Castle.’ I loved Montgomery, I really did, but they did a great job replacing him with Victoria Gates. She’s got this sassiness I love!
